Olen ihminen, joka on aina valmiina lähtemään lentokentälle. Vaikka en tietäisi edes kohdetta etukäteen, lähtisin silti. Olen suunnitellut jo pidempään jonkinlaista rantalomaa talveksi, kriteereinä turkoosi meri ja lämpö. Rantakohteita, joissa en ole käynyt, mutta jotka houkuttelevat tällä hetkellä ovat Malediivit, Tansania ja Mauritius. Näiden lisäksi Bora Bora, mutta en usko, että olen sinne ihan vielä lähitulevaisuudessa matkustamassa.
Minusta on nykyään hassua, että Egyptiä pidetään yleisesti ottaen talvilomakohteena, mutta minusta tammi-helmikuussa siellä on jo kylmä (lue: yli 25c). Itse en tarkene etenkään iltaisin ilman paksua takkia ja pitkiä vaatteita siellä talvella. Tätä voisi kai kutsua intekroitumiseksi kulttuuriin…

I find it funny that Egypt is generally considered at winter holiday destination, but I think it already cold (read: over 25c) in January-February, especially in the evenings without a thick coat and long clothes. I guess you could call this integration into the culture…
Olen pyörinyt jälleen Momondon sivuilla ja vertaillut lentojen hintoja, mutta en ole vielä päässyt mihinkään lopputulokseen. Osaisiko joku suositella rantalomakohdetta, joka ei olisi niin tunnettu ja johon voi matkustaa ilman erityisiä ”järjestelyitä”? Myös Australia ja Costa Rica kiinnostavat, mutta niihin haluan mennä pidemmäksi ajaksi (2-3kk), eikä minulla juuri nyt ole mahdollisuutta ottaa niin pitkää getawayta. Jos siellä on muita, jotka unelmoivat rannoista ja merestä niin tästä* pääset varaamaan äkkilähdön talveksi.
